Abakus Immobilien is based in Leipzig, in business since 1994 and currently manages about 1,500 apartments in more than 100 building units. Until Spring of 2004 we used external real estate agents in addition to our own staff.

It was suggested to us by property owners, to set up our own real estate agency in order to keep all services „in house“. We started doing this initially with three employees working exclusively on placement (lease and sale).

This way, the vacancy rate of apartments in properties managed by our firm could be reduced significantly. It is now less than 2-3%, far below the average in Leipzig.

On January 1st 2005 this work unit had grown to four and was made into a separate company to offer professional placement of real estate to owners and managers of properties.

Our office is located in the north-west of Leipzig’s city centre, called „Waldstraßenviertel“. Objects managed by Abakus are located all over Leipzig and surrounding areas. Therefore we have first-hand knowledge of all aspects of the market situation in each micro area and we use this knowledge to our clients’ advantage.
